This morning I am reminded of a song on an old cassette tape by a group named "Alabama".
I'm in a hurry to get things done, Oh, I rush and rush until life's no fun.
All I really got to do is live and die, but I'm in a hurry and don't know why.
Isn't it crazy that we even get impatient driving behind someone who is doing the speed limit.

As a young girl, I was fascinated with the Royal Family and collected every picture I could find and carefully pasted them into a scrapbook. (check my first blog) I vividly remember King George's death and Queen Elizabeth's coronation as very important events. I also love the Bible story of Queen Esther, hence, the name of my blog.
I am not a deep, philosophical thinker, but observe and write about simple lessons we can learn from our everyday life experiences.

Well, I've had to learn to slow down ... I wasn't even aware what a fast BC driver I was until I moved to Edmonton! First of all the speed limits seem slow - and then I get behind drivers who aren't even doing the speed limit :). I haven't been stopped yet ... but you never know. Thanks for the reminder to slow down.
